Hopes for Paris
The French sports journal L'Equipe focuses on Tati in today's edition at last, unfortunately, to give us some rather bad news - she has withdrawn from Rome, her attendance at Strasbourg is purely hypothetic and she only hopes she is ready by the time Roland Garros starts. As for now, she is with her family in Lorraine and she has to avoid any physical excercise, including swimming and cycling. Tati says her moral is still high, however the nature of her right-ankle injury is still uknown to her and she hopes for learning more the next Monday (May 14th) when she is going to pass another MRI in Paris.
If the result is positive, she could theoretically start with some excercise, nevertheless there is very little time for her to get ready for the Grand Slam (note that last year, after a left ankle injury sustained at Miami she was far from being ready to play at RG and she lost her first round match to Jie Zheng).
Let us keep our fingers crossed for her on the 14th and pray for her attendance at Roland Garros!
